We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Harrogate Crowne Plaza and cannot praise the hotel enough. From walking into the spacious reception area we were very impressed by the high standard. Check in was relatively quick and efficient and all of the staff we saw during our stay were very pleasant and helpful. We had a premium king-size room on the 8th floor and everything about the room was excellent. Massive, very comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Large room with larger than usual hotel sized flat screen tv. A nice quiet room also meant we had very good sleeps. Towels were changed every day and complimentary robes and slippers were a nice touch. Providing a non-slip bath mat was also a bonus. The fridge meant that we could have a nice chilled drink when we returned to our room in the evenings. The housekeeping team deserve a mention as this was done daily to an excellent standard - I don't think we could have found a speck of dust even if we had searched for one. Well done!! Breakfast was included in our booking and it far exceeded our expectations. A wide choice of continental (the yogurt and fresh fruit salad was delicious every morning) and a full range of cooked options could be followed by a variety of pastries and muffins for the very hungry. There is also a menu with the option of other hot breakfasts served directly to your table. Had eggs benedict one morning and was very pleased with it. We also asked the waiter for pots of tea at the table rather than use the machine and this was no problem. All in all, we could not find fault with anything and had an excellent stay here. This was our first visit and if we return to Harrogate it will definitely be our hotel of choice. Thanks go to all of the staff at the hotel for our wonderful stay.

Fabulous hotel & staff, exceptionally spotlessy clean, exceeded our expectations, our room was amazing, catered to my requirements for a bed above and beyond what I expected, it was so comfortable and a super kingsized bed, the best I've slept in and sooo comfy for my back, the view was fabulous, so lovely to wake up to in the morning, it took my breath away, beautiful Yorkshire & lovely people, staff in the hotel are fantastic so friendly, reception staff are very kind & catering staff are amazing and attentive, amazing selection of breakfast, enjoyed the food so much. Plenty of parking and lift straight down to the car park, excellent location, so glad we chose your beautiful hotel!!

Got a great price through Booking.Com - top floor room and breakfast included. Staff were very welcoming and our room on 11th floor had fabulous views, and a massive comfy bed. An added bonus for me was a lovely deep bath - so often you can only get showers these days. Breakfast was buffet style and plenty of choice for all tastes. Housekeeping was great, not intrusive and was happy to just top up supplies.

The breakfast was very good except for the availability of getting toasted bread. The toasters used were very slow to toast and a there were always people waiting there turn. Similar problems with the tea and coffee machines which were very slow causing lines of people waiting their turn. The bedrooms were fine, no problems experienced. The same with the bed which was comfortable .

The bed was comfy. The view from the room was great. It was good to have a fridge in the drinks area so I could use proper milk for teas. The rooms were looked after very well although most of the time I only needed the bin emptying then I made the mistake of removing the appropriate label from the door handle and then the towels were changed in the afternoon! Very kind..but.
